At the heart of The Springfield Clinic is Shaun, a highly qualified and experienced Podiatrist who is dedicated to improving patients' quality of life.
Shaun is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a proud member of The Royal College of Podiatry—credentials that underscore his commitment to the highest standards of professional care.
Shaun graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2016 with a strong foundation in podiatric medicine. Since then, he has worked across a variety of clinical settings, gaining extensive experience in both public and private healthcare sectors.
His professional journey has included working with elite-level athletes, including top-tier footballers, where he has developed a keen understanding of the demands placed on the body during high-performance sports.
Specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) and sports-based podiatry, Shaun combines his expertise with evidence-based practices to deliver tailored treatments that address each patient’s unique needs. Whether it’s managing sports injuries, alleviating chronic pain, or enhancing athletic performance,
Shaun’s approach is rooted in achieving optimal outcomes for every individual.

Arancha trained and graduated with her degree in Podiatry at the Universidad de Malaga.
Now working within the NHS and privately, Arancha is a Specialist Podiatrist in managing high risk patients and wounds within the community setting.
Arancha has a depth of knowledge and experience from working within a number of clinical settings including MSK, High Risk Diabetic, Nail Surgery and Routine Podiatry Clinics.

Keir McDermott
Keir is a dedicated podiatrist who began his healthcare career in 2019, qualifying with an HND in Sports Therapy from the City of Glasgow College.
He went on to further his education at Glasgow Caledonian University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Podiatry. During his final year of study, Keir was awarded the prize for achieving the highest marks in Clinical Practice.
Following graduation, Keir worked within the NHS, where he developed strong clinical skills in wound management, nail surgery, and first-line podiatric interventions. He later expanded his practice into the private sector, allowing him to further cultivate his interest in sports-specific rehabilitation and performance-focused care.
Keir has a particular passion for optimising movement and recovery and aspires to work within elite-level sport, where he can combine his podiatric expertise with performance-driven rehabilitation to deliver truly patient-centred care.
Hannah is the friendly face and voice of the clinic, helping make every patient’s experience smooth from the moment they book an appointment to the moment they leave.
A qualified Personal Trainer, Hannah brings a strong interest in health, fitness and wellbeing to her role. She supports our clinical team and patients while keeping the day-to-day running of the practice organised and efficient.
Whether it’s helping patients with their appointments, keeping the clinic organised or making sure the team has everything they need, Hannah is an integral part of the SPB Podiatry team.
